It is nice, I think it was a bit pricey, but Im still glad I bought it. It is comfortable to sit on long enough to change shoes, it holds 9 normal size mens shoe pairs, and 3 more on the floor underneath. It is stable for sitting on. Not a bad deal, but a little too expensive in my opinion.

Sturdy Accent Piece

I love my bench, it’s serving its purpose, it’s sturdy, looks great and it was easy to put together, however, it was missing a bracket, so I am unable to add the additional shelf and despite sending several emails, as advised to do in the packing instructions, I’ve received no response. In addition, the packing instructions also state that missing parts will be sent within 72 hours, but it’s been over 2 weeks.

False advertisement/item damaged

Don't fall for the photo. They make it look bigger than it is. It will only fit four sneakers across. You can only use small shoes otherwise you will need to remove one of the shelves for shoes with any sort of height on them like nike mids or any kind of boot. I am only able to fit four sneakers and four small boots on it. Additionally, the item came scratched/damaged. I bought the 39 inch. Update: I've updated my review from 2 stars to 4 stars considering that they offered me a complimentary upgrade to the larger model. Please be aware that they have not updated the product photo–making it seem as though it's larger than it is. The 39 inch bench does not fit that many shoes per shelf. It only fits 4 pairs of sneakers wide.

Not a regular bench

It was super easy to assemble, it’s sturdy and looks true to the photo. The shelves are adjustable so you are able to customize if you want taller or shorter shelves. Regarding its sturdiness: I had a 90lb box crash into the front of it after it went flying down a flight of stairs. The box had a dent, this shoe bench? Not a scratch. So far, it has been shenanigan proof. 10/10 would purchase again.

We bought this to replace a plastic shoe rack and this wood one is so much nicer. It went together nicely and is very sturdy. The rack itself holds 12 pairs of adult shoes.

My bamboo shoe rack was in a place where I regularly needed to stand on it to reach some stuff, but it felt like it was going to snap and break each time I stood on it. This one is much strong and I can stand on it just fine. It is a bit tall, so it's a tad difficult to tie your shoes while sitting on this. Additionally, you're not going to be able to reasonably use all shelves that came with it. This thing is tall enough for 2 layers of shoes, not the 3 they advertise, unless you want a really tight fit.

This is replacing a similar bench of the same dimensions. I like this one better because the screws are hidden and the vegan leather top. My last one had exposed screws and a cloth top (more difficult to keep clean). On a build like this I add a bit wood glue to really stabilize it. I just put it together and the glue is curing but so far everything is a green light.

So this is a little bit complicated. My main complaint is that despite tightening it because of it's height if a heavy person sits on it they can wobble it back and forth, it's sturdy but disconcerting and feels lower quality because of it. The quality of the wood pieces is alright, it is easy to chip/rough up but other than that it seems decent. The bench is fantastic in terms of storage, you can fit alot of shoes in here if you have a mind too and it's a really good bang for your buck for those reasons. I like it

I've had this built and used it for a few weeks now. It was easy to throw together and has handle the kids climbing around on it and now the (60 lb) dog using it as a perch to look out the window. Great shoe-changing station but doesn't accommodate boots.

I love this shoe changing stool! It's great quality, with sturdy wood and a nice leather seat. It took me less than 15 minutes to put together! The only problem is that boots cannot fit. The top shelf I put on the highest setting and it's only enough room for sandals. I put the middle shelf on the second lowest setting leaving just enough room for regular shoes hoping I could fit boots. My snow boots can fit because they fold over but my husband's work boots do not so they won't fit. I've moved the shelves around trying to make it work but it just doesn't. My only option is to take out one of the shelves if I want to be able to put my husband's boots on one.
